I wrote and recorded this doodle on a Ronin Morningstar with the magic button enabled (onboard mic, not pickups). With a fuzz in the effects chain, this mic produces a cello-like sound. I recorded the guitar part twice and panned the two recordings left and right for a rich, stereo effect. I programmed the drums and other sounds in Ableton.
Dan Phelps sold me this Ronin. I let it go, regretted the decision, and ultimately got back after the guitar changed hands three or so times.
